GO AWARDS SCOTLAND 2012/2013
Following on from the success of the Frameworks Scotland Team at the National Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards in Birmingham in March this year. The Frameworks Scotland team as Framework Managers were honoured to accept on behalf of NHS Boards and the five private sector delivery partners the award of Procurement Innovation or Initiative Award at this years GO Awards Scotland ceremony held in Glasgow on the 23rd October.
The Awards which are the only awards dedicated to public procurement in the UK recognise the achievements of continuing to deliver healthcare facilities across Scotland in the current challenging economic climate and also recognises the innovative nature of the Frameworks Scotland collaborative partnership between NHSScotland and the private sector. To date 52 projects valued at over £448m are being delivered by the five framework delivery partners.
The Team also received highly commended in the category of GO Team of the Year.
Both awards are seen as a prestigious review by highly acclaimed peer groups which helps to draw promotion of Frameworks Scotland’s successes to date as an innovative procurement arrangement within the Health Sector and within Scottish Government Health & Social Care Directorate.
