About the event
Never before have Facilities Services been so important for NHSScotland with major changes taking place in the delivery of health and social care. We are all aware of the challenges in delivering high quality healthcare and improving the health of the people of Scotland.
We have a crucial role in ensuring that we design and provide high quality healthcare environments and services for patients, staff and the public. This event aims to provide you with information and advice to deliver this.
The Scottish Healthcare Conference took place on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th November at Crieff Hydro, Perthshire. The theme was Change or Challenge? Driving the 2020 Vision, Facilitating Healthcare in Scotland.
We had Alex Neil, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing delivering the keynote address and presenting our Sustainability Excellence, Design and Facilities Innovation Awards. He was followed by Ros Moore, Chief Nursing Officer.
In addition, we are delighted to have had Sir Tom Farmer, Founder and Former Chairman of the Kwik Fit Group opening the event on the second day along with Steve McGuire, Executive Director, Essentia, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
The presentations from the event will be available to view shortly.
